Radio Taxis are always a better alternative , especially if you are new to the city . They don’t misguide / take the longer routes and always charge by the meter .
Autos many a times have manipulated meters , and in many urban centers don’t agree to go by the meter and ask for a fare nearly 1.5 to 2 times the actual fare , bridging the fare gap between a metered radio cab and auto to a very small amount .

Also 15kms distance by a radio cab comes out to Rs 225 and 350 as written in the previous post .
